Arrangements in place during the last financial year for identifying, planning and meeting the training needs of staff employed by the service provider. Identifying : The Company has an agreed suite of ‘Mandatory’ Training which all front-line staff members must complete and remain compliant in (renewals completed either annually or 3-yearly). In addition, supervisions are used to identify further training requirement on an individual staff basis/

Meeting those needs : The Company utilise a mix of online training (which includes both mandatory training and a suite of wider training material) and max available places on in-person courses.

Arrangements in place during the last financial year for the recruitment and retention of staff employed by the service provider. As a provider we endeavour to always offer among the markets leading terms and conditions which includes going beyond the Living Wage Foundation Real Living Wage (The Company is a member). In addition we run a staff referral scheme where staff members are incentivised to recommend people for roles within the business. We work hard to offer progression for team members with senior and team leader roles almost exclusively filled through internal promotion.

We undertake quarterly RI Visits which involve meeting with a representative sample of service users each quarter. Feedback is sought at each service user review (minimum quarterly) and we regularly receive feedback from allied health professionals and social workers.

Inspected – Delivering Quality Care

During the reporting period, Care Inspectorate Wales visited our service. We’re proud their findings show we provide safe, effective, and supportive care for the people who use our services, meeting the required standards under section 27(1) of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016.

We also carry out regular reviews to make sure the care and support we offer continues to meet people’s needs and helps them achieve positive outcomes.
